Case Assistant - Real Estate The candidate will assist the paralegals and/or attorneys by maintaining case files, preparing documents for production, organizing and maintaining case or other files, updating and maintaining databases, preparing closing books, obtaining information for internal and external sources and performing other administrative tasks. Responsibilities will include organizing document production for attorney review. Will research public records using public websites and gather cases and exhibits from files for incorporation into briefs. Will assist with preparing a variety of documents, forms, chart, letters, etc. Will also be responsible for preparing binders, preparing closing books, making copies, entering data and maintaining files.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have High School diploma. Basic knowledge in MS Word and Excel. 1 year experience in a law firm supporting paralegals and/or attorneys. Experience supporting a Real Estate practice group. Undergraduate degree and/or a Paralegal certificate preferred. Excellent organizational skills and attention-to-detail. Proficiency in MS Outlook. Database experience.
