Litigation - General (consumer)

Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities: Drafting of legal documents, correspondence, memos, etc. Drafting various pleadings and incorporation of documents. Trial preparation to include organizing discovery documents, preparing exhibits, bates labeling, organization of client files, etc. Filing and recording documents with the appropriate offices/courts. Maintaining client documents and emails in client workspaces. Preparation of case notebooks and deposition summaries. Ability to utilize computer programs designed for case management. Manages litigation support and information management systems; compliant with e-discovery rules and regulations. Manages document production process – hard copy, electronic, etc. Assists with the collection of materials, hard copy, electronic data and physical evidence. Designs and implements document review systems, tracks materials through the process. Manages logistics of production of documents – hard copy & images. Makes relevant documents and information quickly and easily available. Designs and manages databases (e.g. Summation, Relativity). Other duties as assigned. 3-5 years of paralegal experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certification from an accredited source required.
