For SSI and SSDI clients (benefits for low-income individuals who are unable to maintain employment due to physical and or mental impairment), law clerks have the opportunity to identify eligibility, gather and build evidence, prepare briefs, assist with negotiations and possibly represent the client in an administrative hearing.
