Equal Opportunity Specialist, GS 11 Duties: The candidate will be formulating, developing, and implementing equal opportunity programs, plans, and procedure. Monitoring execution of equal opportunity programs. Conducting and monitoring equal opportunity training. Conducting staff assistance visits. Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Ph.D degree or equivalent doctoral degree or 3+ full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Human Resources Management and Administration Management.
Should have 1 year of specialized experience which includes monitoring equal opportunity training, managing equal opportunity programs, and reviewing discrimination or harassment complaints. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
