Summer Internship Session 1 Intern will have the opportunity to learn how federal legislation is created by gaining a rare perspective into the workings of Capitol Hill and the legislative branch. In Rockville and Baltimore, interns have the opportunity to see how legislation directly affects constituents. ​In addition to general office responsibilities, primary responsibilities of interns include: Will be attending hearings and briefings, researching and summarizing proposed legislation, drafting memos for staff and the Senator, etc. Duration: July 9 – August 24, 2018. Deadline: March 9, 2018.
