Litigation Paralegal The candidate will help prepare arguments and draft legal documents (pleadings, motions, stipulations, discovery requests and responses, complaints, demand letters, etc.). Will communicate with clients and opposing parties (new case intake, documents collection, medical treatment and other records). Communicate effectively with co-workers, clients, experts and vendors with superior attention to detail.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have 4 years of experience in civil litigation. Insurance defense experience is preferable. A working knowledge of court rules in a variety of counties and venues, in addition to understanding complex legal concepts and terminology essential. Experience with drafting and responding to discovery, document production, reviewing and summarizing medical records, and preparing a case for trial is needed. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
