Commercial Loan Administration Manager The candidate will serve as a liaison to credit administration and commercial loan processing teams to bring about improvements to identified loan administration gaps. Lead bank wide initiatives to systematically review processes and procedures related to CRE and C&I loan closing processes and recommend and implement changes to bring consistency to the entire commercial bank. Report regularly to executive management on gaps identified in the field. Coordinate regularly with Loan Coordinators and legal counsel (when needed) across all regions in regards to training and bringing consistency to processes and procedures related to loan documentation, closing and on-going servicing. When needed, serve as a resource in the closing or processing complex institutional level CRE and C&I loans. Work with teams to ensure loan documentation is adequate and approved processes are being followed. Identify gaps and issues as they arise. Collaborate with Commercial Trainer on developing and maintaining a bank wide loan administration training program. Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have 10+ years of commercial loan closing and administration experience. Paralegal or Title company experience is a plus. Must possess excellent knowledge of legal, compliance and regulatory risks as it pertains to commercial loan documentation and administration. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Must be able to interact professionally with executive management as well as internal and external counterparties and clients in a personable, professional manner. Must be able to work well with established teams and understand interpersonal and team dynamics. Must have computer proficiency with basic Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook) is required. Experience with nCino, OnBase, and Fiserv DNA a plus. Must have an exceptional working knowledge of commercial loan documentation, title process, UCC filings, loan funding and ongoing draws, legal and risk management provisions. Must have expert knowledge of both CRE and C&I lending as well as various structures including; construction loans, lines of credit, term loans, interim financing and nuances of various industry and property type risks.
