Benefits Compliance Coordinator The candidate will be responsible for assisting the Benefits Compliance Counsel in the creation of customized ERISA wrap documents, 5500 forms and ACA related reporting for employer groups as it relates to their health and welfare benefit offerings. Assist employers in the creation, customization and quality review of comprehensive ERISA plan documents (including Summary Plan Descriptions). Provide technical guidance and training for prospects and clients, referral partners and the NFP, West Region internal team as needed. Work directly with the Benefits services sales team to manage and facilitate the sales process with clients. Update and maintain clientsâ€™ benefits plan information in appropriate databases to ensure accuracy. Prepare 5500s for clients. Prepare 1094 and 1095 forms for clients. Must have Bachelorâ€™s Degree with at 2+ yearsâ€™ experience, or a combination of some college and a paralegal certificate. Should preferably have 2 years of benefits experience. Strong computer skills: MS Office Suite is required. Strong writing skills is must. Experience with ERISA compliance for Health and Welfare benefits, as well as proficiency with ERISA compliance and ACA guidelines for small and large employer groups is preferred.
