Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mid-Level Real Estate Associate to join its team in New York. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of complex real estate transactions, with a focus on joint ventures, purchases and sales, private equity transactions, REITs, and leasing matters. Duties:

  • Work on a variety of large and complex real estate transactions, including joint ventures, purchases and sales, private equity transactions, REITs, and leasing.
  • Draft and review transactional documents, such as purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, and lease agreements.
  • Provide legal advice to clients on various real estate matters.
  • Supervise and mentor junior attorneys, providing guidance on legal and procedural matters.
  • Manage multiple transactions and matters concurrently, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to develop legal strategies and solutions.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda related to real estate law.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited . law school.
  • High academic achievement.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in real estate transactions, with a focus on joint ventures, purchases and sales, private equity transactions, REITs, and leasing.
  • Strong interest in real estate law, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a team-player attitude.
  • Admission to the New York Bar or eligibility to waive into the New York Bar.
  • Prior experience working at a peer law firm.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited . law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York Bar (or eligibility to waive in).
