Job Overview: A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney admitted to practice in California to join its dynamic and growing legal team. Duties:

  • Independently manage a litigation caseload, including casework from inception through resolution.

  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft comprehensive legal documents to support case strategies.
  • Collaborate with opposing counsel and other legal professionals to negotiate settlements or other resolutions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience in general or professional liability, employment law, or commercial litigation.
  • Admitted to practice law in California.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal matters clearly.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple cases simultaneously.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of California.

Skills:

  • Expertise in managing litigation cases from start to resolution.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills for drafting briefs, pleadings, and other court documents.
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to handle a diverse caseload.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and negotiation with opposing counsel.

Location:

  • Remote, must be admitted to practice in California.
