Wholesale Loan Administrator III The candidate will be responsible for documenting and closing new originations and modifications; coordinating the legal and operational activities; and reviewing the regulatory compliance requirements associated with the closing of transactions for the Equity Equivalent Investment (EQ2) program and Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI)s market-rate loans. Will assist on assessment of legal, compliance and operational issues associated with the loans; coordination of multiple parties to the transaction including lending staff; recommend strategies for mitigating risk; draft and prepare and review loan documents and other legal documentation associated with loans, working with the manager and internal partners in identifying compliance and documentation requirements; assist lending staff in devising strategies and documentation negotiations; effectively manage post close follow up, including being accountable for receipt of outstanding items and establishment of accurate electronic files; manage and monitor the life of loan trigger dates and ensure that bank complies under documentation terms.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have 5+ years of commercial loan closing experience, commercial loan administration experience, or a combination of both. Commercial loan documentation, preparation, or review experience is desired. Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills is desired. 5+ years’ experience in documenting and closing commercial real estate loans as a paralegal or equivalent experience including experience in drafting unique document provisions; a familiarity with real estate documentation and closing coordination is desired. Community Lending experience with non-profits is desired.
