Research & Writing Specialist The candidate will be assigned a wide range of challenging and satisfying work, from researching, analyzing, and writing trial motions and memoranda, jury instructions, appellate briefs, and legal and policy memoranda, to creating and presenting educational programs for the FPD and CJA panel. Some travel will be required. Must be a graduate of an accredited law school. Must Be licensed to practice in the federal courts. Should be in good standing in all states and courts where are admitted to practice. Must have some criminal-defense or civil-rights experience. Should have experience in habeas or other post-conviction litigation; and/or Have experience working in or with the federal courts. Deadline: June 3, 2019.
