Better and more professional management. Better treatment and pay for the lawyers and the staff. Remove your family from leadership positions in the firm.

Pros : There are some really great lawyers and staff who work there. A lot of the lawyers and staff work well together and support each other in what are somewhat dire conditions.
Cons : This is the Schrieffers' firm, him and his family. His family has positions of authority that in some cases they are not qualified for. His wife is the "Director of Administration" and though she is not a lawyer inserts herself into legal matters when she shouldn't. There is a lot of placing blame! Even when an issue is not the lawyer handling the case they will nonetheless be blamed for it. They also do not treat staff well. So in general this place is a revolving door for both lawyers and staff. Some in both categories have stuck it out there for a substantial period of time due to proximity to where they live and/or other reasons. However, most people with options leave when they can.
