Duties

  • Meet with clients, claim representatives, expert witnesses, and other relevant personnel to discuss case work.
  • Conduct legal research to support current arguments and strategies.
  • Prepare legal documents, including deposition summaries, motions, and pleadings.
  • Attend hearings, court proceedings, and other mandated meetings.
  • Provide legal guidance and support to clients, ensuring excellent service and outcomes.
  • Manage multiple cases concurrently, collaborating with senior attorneys to develop strategies.

Requirements

  • Admittance to the Indiana Bar required.
  • 0-4 years of experience practicing law, with a preference for candidates with litigation experience.
  • Strong writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases at once while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience in insurance defense litigation or federal court is a plus.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team of attorneys.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the Indiana State Bar.

  • Strong organizational and case management abilities.
