Litigation Paralegal The candidate will work on complex federal and state court litigation cases. A Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate is required. Must have 8+ years of litigation experience in a law firm or legal department. Experience with drafting correspondence, motions, pleadings and discovery; e-filing; digesting depositions; performing paper and electronic discovery; cite-checking; maintaining case calendars and files. Able to organize and track large document productions, assure all court dates are tracked and calendared and is able to handle all aspects of a case from start to finish. Familiarity with state and federal court rules and procedures is essential. Proficiency in Summation and/or Concordance is preferred. Possess excellent organizational skills.

There needs to be more supervising being done from management. Advancement opportunities should be offered to the staff. Management needs to work on how to effectively lead their staff.

Pros : The office provides an environment full of professionals. The staff creates a great working culture. The place is affordable in rates for clients in comparison to other firms in the area.
Cons : Management sometimes suffers from organization. Some of the staff has a poor attitude. Gossip runs through the firm, making the setting feel like there is a lack of adults.
