The intern will be asked to assist with legal research, draft briefs/memos, review discovery material (including body worn cameras and prisoner communications), and generally assist attorneys with the prosecution of misdemeanors and felonies in General District Court, Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court, and the Circuit Court. Will have the opportunity to observe the proceedings in all three courts. Must be current law students with an interest in criminal law. Students with a third year practice certificate will be encouraged to prepare and prosecute misdemeanors and felonies with appropriate attorney supervision. Third year practice certificate preferred.
