Within WW Learning, the Global Field & Partner Learning team (GFPL) develops and leads cross-segment, role-based learning programs focused on increasing technical, industry, and professional capabilities, to measurably accelerate field and partner performance. Our team delivers learning programs to over 60,000 professionals across our field organization, and to over 1 million learners across our partner ecosystem. As part of the Global Field & Partner Learning organization, the Integrated Learning Team Instructional Design Specialist will shape the learner experiences using proven neuro-science based adult learning approaches to drive maximum learning outcome. This includes taking input from role-based needs assessments and translating them into engaging and creative end to end learning experiences that results in new capabilities and business impact. This role will work closely with other instructional designers across GFPL and WWL, as well as key internal stakeholders to deliver the best learner experience. Responsibilities Develop and achieve neuro-science based design documents for optimal learner experience, that include learning, behavioral, and performance objectives aligned to business outcomes and consider the whole performance system Design the end to end learner journey factoring the mix of learning solutions and modalities and balance learner experience with role priorities and learning outcome Develop and execute guiding principles for optimal learner journey and communicating trade-offs Recommend the optimal mix of modality including appropriate practice activities, manager reinforcement strategies, real job scenarios and supplementary resources Assist with or manage the development process and provide guidance and support as needed; Develop evaluation strategies, including formative, summative, and performance-based measures Preferred Qualifications: Strong knowledge of instructionaldesign principles and practices to include: adult learning theories, interactive training and learning design, on-line/e-learning design principles, distance learning, instructor-led training, self-paced instruction, Skype & Recordings, evaluation methods, version control and performance support systems Strong oral and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills Qualifications Additional requirements for this role include: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, engineering, education or related fields 8+ years’ professional experience in high tech industry or continued education 5+ years professional experience in Instructional Design related disciplines MBA/ JD preferred WWL - REQ Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
