Job Overview: A prominent law firm based in Cleveland is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. This position focuses on defending and litigating a wide array of labor and employment-related disputes, including discrimination, harassment, and contract issues, while offering expert legal counsel to employers. The ideal candidate will have experience in employment law or commercial litigation and a strong commitment to high-quality client service.

Duties:

  • Defend and litigate lawsuits related to labor and employment claims, including discrimination and agency charges.
  • Advise and counsel clients on various employment and labor law matters.
  • Represent employers in legal proceedings, including court appearances, administrative hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Handle complex cases, such as class actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, employment torts, and non-compete agreements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in employment law or commercial litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and legal procedures.
  • Current admission to the Ohio Bar in good standing.
  • Familiarity with state and federal agency procedures.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Excellent academic credentials.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Ohio Bar.
