Litigation Legal Secretary The candidate communicates to and on behalf of attorney using Firm technology, i.e., phones, e-mails, etc. Assists with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents and correspondence. Maintains attorney’s calendars; Schedules meetings, depositions, and travel. Filing with State and Federal courts (including e-filing). Maintains various files and client information. Prepares, tracks and maintains attorney expenses and time. Wide variety of other legal administrative tasks. Should have 10-15 years of experience, great job stability, be experienced with e-filing in state and federal courts, calendaring, word processing, and various legal administrative duties, preferably in a small or mid-sized law firm environment. Must have solid e-filing experience, in both State and Federal court. Must have strong word processing and document editing skills. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook 2010 or higher is essential. Familiarity with legal research and document management systems, i.e. iManage or Filesite is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
