Investigator, Ethics and Compliance
Responsibilities: Conduct compliance investigations, including preparing investigation plans; obtaining, reviewing, and analyzing evidence; interviewing subjects and witnesses; preparing investigation memoranda and reports; and maintaining investigation records. Manage an individual caseload and be accountable for prompt and thorough completion of all investigative tasks. Perform and/or direct computer forensic reviews and electronic evidence-gathering. Research applicable policies, rules, and statutes. Utilize case management tools to document investigation case milestones. Partner with stakeholders in Legal, Human Resources, Security and other departments to ensure that investigations in all regions are handled fairly, consistently, and in a timely manner. Identify and assess potential risk areas and champion awareness and remediation of the same. Leverage technologies to improve and scale the internal investigations program and processes. Attend professional development courses and seminars to stay abreast of industry trends. May perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualification and ExperienceQualifications: Bachelor’s degree. J.D. degree preferred. Should have 5+ years’ investigative experience, preferably in a corporate or government setting. Intellectual Property, Employment Law, or Litigation experience preferred. Tech industry background a plus. Desired Qualifications: Familiarity with Oracle and SAP applications and modules. Familiarity with Microsoft suite and videoconferencing applications. Comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment. Open to domestic and international business travel as needed.
