Senior Counsel - Employment Law Candidate will counsel members of senior management and the candidate must exhibit the executive presence, forward thinking, competence, and professionalism needed to earn the trust of members of the company’s senior management team. Managing complex labor and employment law matters that affect the company and advising in-house business clients.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Law degree from an accredited law school and a license to practice law in at least one jurisdiction. 7+ years of legal experience required. Must have significant experience in one or more of the following areas: employment law advice and counsel, traditional labor law, international employment law, or employment litigation. Must be skilled at minimizing and retiring employment and labor law risk in a strategic, yet cost-effective manner. should possess a high level of proficiency in one or more of the following subjects: complex employment law advice and counsel, traditional labor law, international employment law, or employment litigation. should be familiar with standard legal concepts, practices, and procedures. must be able to work collaboratively with other legal team members and Human Resources team. Standard computer skills. Superior written and verbal communication skills. A team player who can effectively communicate with and respond to clients in a timely manner. Must be able to work independently with outside counsel. Must exercise good judgment in the performance of all tasks.
