Regulatory Compliance Specialist The candidate will manage, secure, and maintain all beverage alcohol licenses, permits, and registrations at federal and state level needed for the operation of the business. Will develop and implement processes to track deadlines and expiration of licenses, permits, and approvals, as well as maintain accurate records. Prepare and file applications for federal label approvals (i.e. COLAs and COLA waivers), including direct communications with the TTB to obtain labelling guidance. Manage, secure, and maintain brand registrations for beverage alcohol products with state regulators, including direct communications with state regulators. Provide support to Marketing and Product Supply Chain teams to meet product launch deadlines. Keep current with current regulatory issues, topics, and practices, and interpret and disseminate information on such matters. Attend to other compliance matters and regulatory filings, such as charitable co-venture registrations and procuring bonds. Manage various databases and repositories of licenses, permits, and other filings through internal resources, as well as external vendor products, such as ShipCompliant and CT Advantage. Conduct regulatory and compliance training as necessary. Provide support for various corporate and legal projects, including legal research. Attend and actively participate in meetings, both in person and telephonically. Source, read and interpret information pulling from a variety of sources and technologies. Regularly report to the office location to complete job duties. Must have 4+ years of relevant experience working for or with companies in heavily regulated industries, preferably within the beverage alcohol world. Bachelors Degree is required. Paralegal Certificate is a plus. Ability to track, manage, and follow-up on hundreds of license and permit filings and renewals is required. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to develop and format effective written materials used for presentations and/or the summary of research projects, etc is requred. Should have familiarity with alcohol beverage laws and regulations. Professional experience with various federal and state regulatory online filing systems is required. Mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is needed. Working knowledge of Microsoft Sharepoint is a plus. Experience with ShipCompliant and CT Advantage is a plus. Notary public qualification preferred.
