Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Juris Doctorate is preferred. Certified Records Manager (CRM) or Information Governance Professional (IGP) certification also preferred. Must have 5+ years of experience with law firm Records Management or Information Governance. Expertise in dealing with hard copy and electronic records. 5+ years of strategic consulting experience. Understanding of the business of law firms, including risk management issues. Knowledge of records management software such as IRM, Legal Key and/or MDY and/or Accutrac Records Management system. Experience developing records management policies and retention schedules. Experience with law firm conflicts and new business intake processes. Should be a subject matter expert capable of assisting with preparing presentations for trade shows (LegalTech, ILTA, etc.) and CIO Roundtables and authoring articles and white papers for industry trade publications.
