A law firm is seeking a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team in Erie. The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of litigation experience and possess excellent academic credentials. This role offers an opportunity to work on a diverse range of litigation matters, providing comprehensive legal services to clients. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in all phases of litigation, including case assessment, discovery, trial preparation, and trial.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and client meetings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and litigation plans.
• Review and analyze documents, evidence, and legal precedents to build strong cases.
• Manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
• Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution when appropriate.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Requirements:

• Experience: 0-3 years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Bar Admission: Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing with the Pennsylvania State Bar.
• Academic Credentials: Strong academic record is required.
