We are a boutique bankruptcy law firm seeking?a junior to mid-level associate attorney to join our growing firm. The successful candidate will work closely with the partners and staff in challenging and high-profile commercial bankruptcy and insolvency role is ideal for someone looking for variety in their practice and significant mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft various legal documents, including complaints, answers, discovery requests, motions, responses, and briefs with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies and provide well-informed advice to clients;
  • Appear in bankruptcy court on motions and status conferences; and
  • Correspond with opposing counsel and clients on matters related to ongoing cases.

 Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with a strong academic record;
  • Licensed to practice in Texas or in the process of gaining admission;
  • Strong legal research and writing skills;
  • Ability to collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop and implement case strategies.
