Washington, D.C. office of an AmLaw firm seeks associate attorney with 2-5 years of experience. The candidate will assess eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for nonimmigrant and immigrant visa status in the United States with a heavy focus on H-1B, L-1, EB-1c and PERM. Will work with client global mobility personnel and the office of general counsel to prepare petitions and applications for submission to United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the Department of Labor (DOL) for nonimmigrant and immigrant status for foreign national employees. Support clients in immigration program management and compliance. Supervise the work of paralegal staff in recordkeeping and document preparation. Perform other duties as required. Should be Member of a State Bar Association with the ability to be admitted to the DC Bar within one year of commencing employment. Experience with both NIV and IV petitions, with a focus on H-1B, L-1, EB-1c and PERM, including analysis and preparation of responses to RFEs are needed.
