Bookkeeper / Office Manager, part time

Lower Manhattan – small law office

 

Perform billing, bookkeeping, accounts receivable and accounts payable including routine calculating, posting and maintaining accounting records; some office management functions such as tracking and selecting vendors.

  • Minimum 2-3 years bookkeeping experience.
  • Must have experience with QuickBooks.
  • Experience in a law firm or other professional service firm preferred.
  • Experience with law firm or professional services billing software preferred (Time slips preferred).
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Administrative and organizational skills
  • Attention to details and mathematical accuracy
  • Verbal and written communication skills

Job Type: Part-time – 20 hours per week over 4 or 5 days. Pay commensurate with experience.

References required.
