Manager Global Compliance
Duties: Lead and oversee organization-wide legal policy compliance and risk management involving global legal regulatory requirements, with key areas including corporate and governance guidance, antitrust, litigation, intellectual property usage, records management, legal guidance for new product development, support for global entities, and related programs, and contract or liability defense. Ensure compliance programs in US and global subsidiaries are established and/or maintained; partner closely with compliance partners in each subsidiary to ensure continued adherence to delivered programs as well as development and implementation of relevant policies. Develop and oversees relevant policies, policies, and practices. Establish central management of global compliance, including tracking and enforcement mechanisms, and ensures continued compliance enforcement across the organization; oversee the execution of required compliance education for a variety of organization needs. Design and implement a global compliance program. Develop and maintain related procedures, reports, etc. regularly to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues. Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies. Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously. Assure progress and positive development of legal requirements and programs, alignment of programs with organization strategy, initiatives, and priorities, attainment of planned organization performance, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor’s in business, law, or related area. Advanced degree or Juris Doctor degree strongly preferred. 5+ years of experience in corporate compliance role; experience in global organization beneficial. Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically, including success in identifying relevant concepts and approaches to meet organization needs, while also being able to develop and execute detailed plans, collect and interpret large quantities of information, and prepare concise summaries of key findings. Strong relationship management skills, including demonstrated ability to work with all levels of staff, global customers, volunteers, and external organizations with a track record of positive long-term outcome-based relationships. Effective meeting facilitation. Strong experience writing, implementing, and enforcing company policies and procedures. Ability to successfully negotiate agreements for services or relationships that benefit or align with an organization’s objectives. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive organization topics and issues. Experience of working in an agile, dynamic, and customer-centric environment. Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to negotiate toward outcomes that benefit the host organization. Proficiency in the business language for PMI (English).
