Law Firm Staff brings you up to date and high quality legal staff openings in law firms and in-house legal departments of business organizations. In addition, we help solo attorneys hire experienced personnel from the legal industry. We not only have the best law firm staff positions, but we also have the most. Legal Assistant/Paralegal Candidate will support two attorneys in a high-volume practice and will be responsible for the following: Calendar management; Drafting correspondence, discovery, pleadings, and nonparty requests; Client contact; Filing (electronic and mail) in state and superior court; and Medical record maintenance and summarization. Candidate must be detail oriented with 1+ years of experience in a professional services environment (e.g. law firm, real estate brokerage, accounting, insurance firm, etc.). Litigation experience is not required, however, with experience in a personal injury or insurance defense law firm are strongly preferred. A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Strong technical skills are necessary, including experience with MS Word, Excel, Google Docs, and Google Drive; experience with Clio or a similar case management system is a big plus. Will be subject to strict deadlines and must possess excellent communication and time management skills.
