Booking and Funding Specialist
The candidate will be responsible for preparing funding logs, commission logs, setting up vendors in the Lease Accounting System (LeaseWave). Sets up customers within the Vertex Management system as tax exempt. ensure hard copies are stored in an approved location. Books and funds deals during peak period. Processes rebook corrections. Handles contracts in accordance to booking and funding procedures to ensures compliance and processing effectiveness for all deals. Prepares Weekly or Daily Funding Logs. Prepares Bi-Monthly Commission Logs. Sets up Customers as tax exempt in Vertex Manager. Creates new Vendors in Lease Accounting System. (LeaseWave). Supports booking and funding team during peak periods by booking and funding contracts in Lease Accounting System (LeaseWave). Completes corrections in the Lease Accounting System (LeaseWave). Keeps Standard Operating Procedures curren. Supports booking and funding team by getting resolution to outstanding questions. Understands Pricing/Supertrump set ups to be able to understand discrepancies in yield variances when booking so deal can be commenced. Supports new processes by testing new rollouts in Lease Accounting System (LeaseWave).

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of experience with a financial institution, customer service, operations or contract management with exposure to loan and/or lease documents. A Bachelor's or Associates degree in business law, accounting, or paralegal certificate is desired. Experience reviewing, auditing and generating documentation is desired. Experience working with leases/loans, Title work or mortgages is preferred. Should have general knowledge of accounting with strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Must have demonstrated ability to discern complex elements of transactions and consistently choose the correct course of action. Should have ability to deal with multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Must have PC proficiency with Microsoft office suite with emphasis on Word and Excel.
