Profile

Legal Assistant - Medical Negligence The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Power Point/Outlook). Litigation experience is preferred but not required. Must have the following skills/qualities: excellent organizational and communication skills, initiative, attention to detail, ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing conditions, patience, diplomacy, high stress tolerance with the ability to work under pressure, analytical and problem-solving skills, accurate typing and word processing skills. Will play an integral role in supporting attorney (partner) with all aspects of litigation, including to, drafting/editing pleadings and discovery, document management, case/docket management, scheduling of depositions, and trial preparation. Applicant will also perform administrative tasks, including phone and calendar support, communication with clients, witnesses, and outside counsel, coordinate meetings/conferences/depositions/travel arrangements, process expense reports and invoices and coordinate hard copy/electronic document collections.
