Legal Assistant The candidate will provide administrative and clerical support for two lawyers. Will prepare documents for real estate transactions and pleadings to be filed with various courts. Answer phones and take messages or field/answer questions. Maintain client files. Photocopy, fax and scan documents; prepare and send documents and correspondence by mail, courier delivery and e-mail. Prior experience with real estate closings and as a legal assistant is preferred. Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), WordPerfect, and Adobe Acrobat is needed. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments are essential.
