ProfileProvidence office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks labor and employment/litigation associate attorney with experience. The candidate will serve a challenging and engaging workload consisting of both representing employers in employment litigation and also advising employers as to all aspects of employment law compliance. Will represent employers in management-side employment litigation and compliance work. Be comfortable communicating with clients in a professional, practical, open and level- headed manner, even when dealing with highly sensitive issues. Experience in forums that handle employment claims at the administrative level (state and federal department of labor; MCAD; EEOC; and RICHR) essential. Should have familiarity with substantive state and federal employment laws (such as leave laws, wage and hour laws, and anti-discrimination laws). Must have experience with employment law compliance, such as drafting noncompete agreements and employment policies, conducting manager trainings, and advising employers as to termination, compensation and hiring best practices. Must have interest in labor and employment law. Should be admitted to both Massachusetts and Rhode Island Bars.
