Personal Injury Paralegal The candidate will support attorneys in a variety of cases from start to finish. Will do effective communication with clients, witnesses, expert witnesses, consultants, opposing counsels, and other third parties. Prioritizing and responding to client and court needs. Build a good rapport with clients, maintain client expectations, and just generally enjoy interacted with people. Maintain case information electronically. Assist in drafting discovery, discovery responses, petitions, answers, and motions. Keep current and accurate time records. Function effectively as a part of a team. Assist in preparing Exhibits and documents needed for trial, mediation, and arbitration. Maintain schedule and keep attorney(s) on track. Electronically review and redact documentation, as needed. Reviews facts and law of case to assist Lawyer with determining causes of action. Negotiate demands, as needed. Delivers or directs delivery of subpoenas to witnesses and parties to action, when requested. Move cases forward by timely scheduling and daily review of all incoming case documents and medical/billing records. Must have Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school and 2+ years of experience in a personal injury firm within the past 3+ years OR 6+ years of experience as a paralegal in a personal injury law firm or within the past 10 years.
