Manager, Lease Abstracting - Retail Operations The candidate will manage, develop and train direct reports to become lease abstract/pre-abstract subject matter experts. Lead direct reports in meeting team goals without compromising data integrity. Lead direct reports in delivering savings to the bottom line from pre-abstracts and store set-ups. Coach and develop direct reports. Detailed review of Abstract/Pre-abstract for complex domestic and international real estate leases to ensure conformity with negotiated deal terms and compliance with business tolerances. Review the system set-up of domestic and international store occupancy expense terms for payment in Accruent system for both capital and non-capital lease documents. Review leases in detail and provide action items to Legal for joint resolution. Track critical lease dates and provide reporting to our cross-functional partners. Share expertise to address lease related questions from our cross functional partners. Review reports to support public disclosures. Manage and review system audits to ensure data integrity. Exercise absolute adherence to data integrity and internal controls. Share best practices across the department. Lead in special projects. Develop a clear understanding of lease processes and business issues. Establish productive relationships with cross functional partners. Perform business and financial analyses. Work independently and on group projects. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Manage and develop direct reports. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, tenacious attention to detail. Bachelor’s Degree required and post-bachelor’s paralegal certification is a plus. Must have 5-7 years of relevant experience. Proficient with Accruent or Business Objects a plus.
