The job entails handling all aspects of first party property insurance claims, at both the pre-litigation stage and litigation stage of the claims. The position requires the attorney to handle a dedicated caseload and be able to handle the cases from start to finish, with the supervision of a senior attorney. The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong work ethic, is detail-oriented, and possesses strong legal research and writing skills. The law firm provides a fast paced environment and the ideal candidate is someone who is driven, picks up on things quickly, and can operate independently (with guidance from a senior attorney). Individuals with first party property experience (Plaintiff's side) are highly preferred. The position includes salary together with a bonus program based on settlements completed. We are looking for someone to be on a partner track and potentially gain equity in the firm. The position is ready to be filled immediately.
