Legal Administrative Assistant The candidate will be coordinating administrative and legal practice tasks and projects for Business attorneys with an emphasis in mergers, acquisitions and real estate (e.g. calendaring meetings, deadlines, conference calls, tasks, appointments. Will be preparing new client intake materials; opening new client matters; billing activities; client interaction by phone, email and in person). Will be preparing, editing, proofreading and assembling legal documents and correspondence (requiring use of digital dictation/transcription).
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have minimum of 3 years administrative experience. Should have advanced knowledge and proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Must have excellent grammar and communication skills. Must have knowledge of court and agency processes and procedures. Must be organized and detail-oriented. Should have exceptional client service, discretion, and judgment to ensure client confidentiality. Must have flexibility and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Should be mergers and acquisitions and real estate experience a plus.
