Mundelein office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks litigation attorney with 4-6 years of experience. The candidate will handle eviction actions, debt collection processes, and small claims litigation. Will be responsible for eviction and debt collection process on behalf of homeowner and condominium associations and Landlords. Responsible for drafting, finalizing, and filing documents related to Condominium, Homeowner, and Townhome Associations and Landlord-Tenant matters. Timely follow-ups on various, related tasks. Participate in all Continuing Legal Education training. Any other duties as necessary or required. Perform legal research and draft discovery and motions. Must be licensed in Illinois. Litigation, trial, and/or debt collection experience preferred. Knowledge of and experience with the Illinois Condominium Property Act and the Illinois Eviction Act is preferred. Must have knowledge of Community Association Governing Documents (Declaration, Bylaws, Rules, and Regulations) as well as the Illinois statutes pertaining to them. Must be familiar with motion practice and discovery procedures. Experience handling jury trials is a plus. Knowledge of post-judgment procedures is also a plus.
