Paralegal/Legal Assistant Duties: Preparing for attorney review regulatory licenses across the U.S., Canada and the U.K. Maintaining and monitoring internal databases (e.g. , licensing, trademarks and intellectual property) to ensure timely preparation and filing of applicable renewals. Maintaining and monitoring a compliance database tracking the approval of products in various jurisdictions. Oversee filings with state and provincial regulatory agencies. Occasional interaction with state/provincial regulators concerning regulatory licenses. Providing administrative support to Arrow attorneys. Assist in the administration of workersâ€™ compensation program, including occasional attendance at hearings as representative.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Bachelorâ€™s degree in a relevant field or combination of Paralegal Certificate and equivalent years of legal assistant/paralegal experience. Prefer 8+ years of legal assistant experience. Must have, or be willing to obtain, Notary Public. Experience managing processes and electronic databases. Ability to handle sensitive, confidential matters and exercise sound discretion and judgment. Detail oriented and exceptional organizational skills. Highly professional with superior verbal and written communications skills. Must be able to work independently, but also work well in a team environment with staff and attorneys. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
