Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a seasoned attorney with at least eight years of expertise in commercial lease negotiations to join its Real Estate Group. This role provides the opportunity to engage in high-impact legal work while fostering professional growth.

Duties:

  • Lead the drafting and negotiation of commercial leases and related documents, including term sheets and letters of intent.
  • Supervise junior leasing attorneys and coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and brokers.
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality deliverables while meeting client expectations.
  • Cultivate positive working relationships within the team and with external partners.
  • Adhere to all firm policies and engage in both sedentary and active tasks as required.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial leasing.
  • Proven track record in drafting and negotiating leases for diverse property types.
  • Strong background in representing landlords.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD)

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice in California

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of the commercial leasing market.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and writing abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
