The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immigration law, including legal research, writing, and client interaction. The role involves preparing cases for USCIS, representing clients in EOIR Immigration Court, and handling a variety of immigration matters.
Location:
Duties:
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents related to immigration matters.
- Represent clients before USCIS and the EOIR Immigration Court.
- Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to clients regarding immigration options and strategies.
- Communicate with clients regarding case updates and progress.
- Prepare and file applications for various immigration benefits, including visas, green cards, and asylum petitions.
- Attend client meetings and assist in case preparation.
- Ensure compliance with all immigration laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of experience practicing immigration law.
- Must be admitted to the New Jersey Bar.
- Strong legal writing skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- New Jersey Bar License (Required)
Skills:

- Familiarity with immigration law, including family-based, employment-based, and removal defense cases.
