Deputy Attorney General The candidate will be responsible for providing general legal counsel to the relevant agencies such as drafting and reviewing legislation and regulations, procurement law compliance, drafting and reviewing contracts, requests for proposals. Will work in MOUs, Freedom of Information Act compliance, Attorney General Opinions, representation of the agencies and/or agency officers and employees in court and administrative proceedings, advice regarding compliance with HIPAA, CFR Part 2, and other State and Federal privacy statutes and regulations. Additionally. Represent the State once a week at civil commitment hearings in Kent County. Should be proficient in health law, as well as have prior litigation and general counsel experience. Such expertise and experience is preferred. Deadline: February 27, 2018.
