ProfileWorkers Compensation Legal Assistant The candidate should preferably have 3+ years of workersâ€™ compensation legal assistant and/or paralegal experience. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to type 40-45 wpm and must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Experience using TimeMatters and BillingMatters preferred. Preparation of pleadings including motions, subpoenas, notices, hearings, and requests for production. Coordination/scheduling of meetings, hearings, appointments, and depositions. Other required duties include providing information to claims professionals and insureds, composing and typing routine correspondence, reading and routing of incoming mail, taking calls from attorneys, claims professionals, J.A.â€™s, opposing counsel, etc. Should have High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 3+ years of minimum experience.
