Florham Park office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a litigation associate attorney with 3-5 years of litigation attorney experience. The candidate will conduct discovery, hearings, trials, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations, and other similar proceedings. Will work closely with Principals to develop and revise appropriate legal strategies for discovery, investigation, handling, and case trials and hearings. Provide guidance to clients on legal opinions, rights, and obligations. Remain current with changes in the law; understand a variety of disciplines involved with cases being defended. Outstanding research and analytical skills are critical. Perform administrative functions related to the practice of law. Must have Admission to the NJ Bar; admission to the NY Bar is a plus. Knowledge of business law and a specific understanding of the operations and requirements of clients is required. Should have experience and ability appropriate to the level of cases being handled. Must be a Member in good standing of the New Jersey State Bar. Knowledge of state law is essential. Should be proficient in conducting legal research.
