A law firm in Buffalo, NY is seeking a motivated Commercial Litigation Attorney with 1-3 years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of commercial litigation and business dispute resolution matters, working closely with partners and other associates.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and writing on complex commercial litigation issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, witness preparation, and oral arguments.
• Assist in discovery processes, including document production and review.
• Work on cases from inception through trial or arbitration, including courtroom appearances.
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates to develop case strategies and approaches.
• Maintain communication with clients, providing updates and advice on case developments.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing.
• 1-3 years of experience in business and commercial litigation.
• Excellent academic credentials and strong writing skills.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
