Manager, Employee Relations and Workforce Policies
The candidate will develop and maintain firm's workplace policies and practices in close partnership with firm's Legal and People teams. Conduct and lead complex investigations related to employee claims and advise leaders and HR Business Partner teams. Conduct HR investigations and own them end-to-end; ensure they’re handled consistently across the company. Provide counsel and coaching to managers and team members at an individual level, and by developing training offerings that can scale. Act as a true thought leader by understanding key internal and external trends in employee relations, and proactively driving continuous improvement across the company. Interprets policies and procedures, incorporating knowledge of state and federal employment laws. (i.e. ADA, FMLA, EEO) and practices and provides recommendations to resolve complex employee relations issues. Work with leaders and employees to establish and maintain a positive work environment, which encourages the full use of diverse talents and abilities; act as an employee advocate; help drive various corporate and division business initiatives.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate must have 6-8 years of HR experience. Experience in employee relations, inclusion and diversity, or HR business partner roles is preferred. Should have Bachelor’s degree. JD or advanced degree is desired. Strong working knowledge of state and federal employment laws including, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, NLRB, Title VII is needed. Experience building and improving workplace policies and practices is must.
