ProfileJudicial Services Coordinator II The candidate serves in division Court Support. Provides judicial support at UCC court hearings, assists with drafting and preparing court orders, coordinates and schedules mediation dates, prepares Orders of Referral for Family Court Services, General Magistrate, Family Guardians Ad Litem, the Village, and informs the court procedural posture of related cases, both open and closed, to ensure court orders do not conflict. Calculates child support according to statutory guidelines, notice parties for hearing, calendar cases. Coordinates and prepares orders for transport of inmates, coordinates interpreter coverage and use of child testimony rooms and video as needed, and other related duties. Assists the court in providing accountability for the implementation of all relevant court orders and service plans in all related cases, consistent with the childrenâ€™s well-being and Dependency case permanency outcomes; monitors and tracks compliance with terms of court orders, including obtaining necessary reports back to the court. Performs case management of UCC caseload to facilitate timely and expeditious disposition of cases in the Division in accordance with Florida Statutes, Rules of Procedure, and local rule requirements, and prepares orders for the judgeâ€™s signature to progress cases as necessary. Prepares for UCC Court hearings by reviewing all related court history and case postures, prepares Case Status Worksheet reports for the court and internal case management purposes. Prepares Domestic Violence (DV) Injunction paperwork for all DV calendars and staff DV Calendars. Coordinates active/pending and related closed cases so as to avoid the issuance of conflicting court orders. Works collaboratively as a liaison with all judges and court staff in the division and the circuitâ€™s other related court divisions, as well as child welfare and juvenile justice system providers. Performs related work as required. A JD degree from an accredited law school is needed. Member in good standing of The Florida Bar is essential. Professional experience with juvenile dependency/delinquency/family law and/or domestic violence issues, in or out of the court system, or with a comparable agency, or other court system experience is highly preferred. Should preferably have 2+ years of case management or professional work related experience. Knowledge or the ability to gain knowledge of justice system operations and community outreach efforts related to UCC process is needed. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Windows, and Excel. Computer literate is essential. Knowledge of issues regarding juvenile dependency, delinquency, family law, and domestic violence is needed.
