Commercial Associate Attorney
The candidate should be a California licensed attorney to (a) work the Firm’s existing book of business clients in the State of California; and (b) who possesses an appetite to grow his or her own book of business with Firm support. Will Prepare pleadings and ancillary correspondence for all phases of litigation. Conduct motion practice and attend court when required during the litigation lifecycle, which may include first-chairing trials. Effectively and responsively communicate with Firm clients, opposing counsel, opposing parties, and court staff. Implement strategies to collect on judgments obtained on behalf of clients. Conduct legal research required to make successful legal arguments and recommendations to Firm clients. Document account/file activity in accordance with Firm and client policies and procedures. Attend continuing education classes, webinars, and seminars to remain current and well-informed of any local, state or federal changes in the law, rules of court or court procedures. Provide guidance and training to administration staff. Other duties as assigned. Should have 1-7 years of commercial litigation experience. Qualified to practice law in the State of California. Attorneys with multi-state licenses in California and Arizona, or ability to become licensed in either or both states, are preferred. J.D form an accredited law school. Knowledge of federal, state and local laws. Ability to analyze case law and provide recommendations. Possesses a collaborative disposition. Superior time management skills who is adept at managing priorities to meet business requirements and deadlines in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Possesses leadership skills and the ability to drive and motivate other employees to achieve results. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Management should be accountable for their actions. Stop playing the blame game. Pay people what they are worth.

Pros : The people here are wonderful and have been here for years. You get a lot of knowledge in legal processes and time management.
Cons : The work load is unrealistic and the pay is not worth the stress. Management is immature.
