Attorney The candidate will focus on laws, regulations and policies around the world that impact cybersecurity, and cybercrime issues that pass out of development and become compliance obligations. Will have an ability to work with our experts working on legislation in the development phase, and then help businesses achieve their most important strategic goals through smart compliance and thoughtful policy implementation. As part of a team of attorneys and working with our policy experts, review laws and policies around cybersecurity and cybercrime through the lens of compliance, articulating legal obligations for our product and services teams globally. Work with firm's legal, Security engineering and compliance teams around the company on implementation of security compliance regimes for new laws and obligations. Provide strategic direction to other legal teams and business partners on specific issues and trends in cybersecurity, law enforcement and cybercrime legal compliance that will impact firm's businesses, customers, and ecosystem. Provide expertise to legal teams across firm's seeking counsel on the interpretation of cybersecurity legal obligations. Serve as a legal partner to the business by understanding business needs and working to assist compliance obligations or find legislative or regulatory solutions that meet those needs. Work with marketing, sales, consulting and other external facing roles on appropriate representation of capabilities. Engage in conferences and events to advance firm's point of view on proposed cybersecurity policy, regulations and/or cybercrime laws.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have JD degree, outstanding academic credentials and an active license to practice law. Must have 5 years’ experience as a practicing attorney, with experience in cybersecurity or legal compliance. Must have excellent analytical, writing, and oral communication skills effective with both lawyers and non-lawyers. Mus be comfort in working with multiple attorneys across different legal portfolios (cybersecurity, cybercrime, compliance) in a dynamic environment where issues evolve rapidly.
