Associate Litigation Attorney Duties: Jury Trials. Taking depositions. Preparing clients and presenting them for depositions. Filing lawsuits. Negotiating settlements. Drafting and responding to written discovery. Prepare demands and/or review draft demand packages prepared by staff. Assist and manage staff with reductions on medical bills, liens, and subrogation claims. Assist Lead Attorneys in negotiating TOP settlement results, plus discuss options and settlement/release authority with clients.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: JD Degree. Associate or Bachelor undergraduate degree. Member of the Texas Bar. 1-5 years of litigation experience.​ Experience dealing with statute of limitation issues. A high level of professionalism. Must be responsible, highly detail-oriented, and organized. Excellent communication skills. Great negotiation skills. Bilingual (Spanish/English). Experience with the "Needles" case management system. Experience with medical malpractice and/or nursing home neglect/abuse cases. Bilingual in Spanish/​English preferred.
